Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our polythene manufacturing facility.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, optimizing operational performance, managing production teams, and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all production activities to ensure operational efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, including extrusion, printing, cutting, sealing, and packaging processes.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure production targets are consistently achieved.
• Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
• Optimize machine utilization, minimize downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs, waste, and material losses.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor production supervisors, machine operators, and other factory personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with the maintenance team.
• Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, finished goods, and production consumables.
• Analyze production reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 4–6 years' experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a polythene manufacturing company.
• Direct hands-on experience in polythene manufacturing is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of blown film extrusion, bag-making, printing, lamination, recycling processes, and quality control.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, inventory management, production planning, and continuous improvement practices.

Mandatory Requirement:

• Candidates must have proven experience working in a polythene manufacturing company.
