We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Server Executive

Location: Akwa Ibom

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an experienced Server Executive to manage and optimize our enterprise server infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • If you have a strong background in Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, cloud technologies, and infrastructure operations, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Manage server patching, backups, disaster recovery, and system performance.
  • Troubleshoot server incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure high availability.
  • Support VMware/Hyper-V virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Implement server security standards, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams to support business operations and IT projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 8-15 years of experience in server administration or infrastructure operations.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS), VMware/Hyper-V, AWS/Azure, backup solutions (Veeam / Commvault), and patch management tools (SCCM/WSUS).
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, infrastructure monitoring, and ITIL best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
