We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

• The Driver will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient transportation services for company executives, staff, clients, and official assignments.
• The ideal candidate must be disciplined, trustworthy, familiar with Abuja and its environs, and committed to maintaining company vehicles in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport company executives, staff, clients, and visitors to assigned destinations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off for meetings, site inspections, airport transfers, and official engagements.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and promptly report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure all vehicle documents, insurance, roadworthiness certificates, and licenses remain valid and up to date.
• Observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
• Assist with the delivery and collection of official documents and parcels when required.
• Support administrative and logistics activities as assigned by Management.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while carrying out official duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years' professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate organization.
• Valid Nigerian Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of Abuja road networks and surrounding areas.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and identify maintenance issues.
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Must be honest, reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or extended hours when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience driving senior executives or management staff.
• Defensive driving or professional driving certification is an added advantage.
• Basic mechanical knowledge will be an added advantage.
