Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Ajaokuta, Kogi

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support business performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
  • Utilize ERP accounting systems effectively (experience with Orion ERP is an added advantage).
  • Oversee collections, payments, and general accounting processes.
  • Analyse operating expenses and prepare insightful financial reports for management.
  • Prepare financial schedules and weekly/monthly management reports.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based financial templates, reports, and analytical models.
  • Liaise with the Group Finance Office and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit queries.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Drive process improvements, digitization initiatives, and operational efficiency within the finance function.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead and supervise the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements

  • Professional qualification: ICAN (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Experience in a large manufacturing or building materials company is required.
  • Experience within the tiles, granite, natural stone, ceramics, cement, or related manufacturing industry will be a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP accounting systems (Orion ERP is preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
