Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Job Summary

  • They are looking for a creative, proactive, and commercially minded Marketing Assistant to support the execution of our marketing and brand initiatives across digital and traditional channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the company's social media platforms with engaging and creative content.
  • Develop innovative marketing ideas and support the execution of brand campaigns.
  • Coordinate Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional events.
  • Manage digital marketing activities and ensure consistent brand visibility across online platforms.
  • Work with designers and suppliers to develop and update marketing materials, artwork, and branding assets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on distributor branding and point-of-sale marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor marketing activities and industry trends.
  • Support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives to improve online visibility.
  • Prepare corporate presentations, marketing reports, and promotional materials.
  • Support new product launches and other strategic marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant marketing experience (5 years is preferred).
  • Experience within the building materials industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience in the tiles industry will be a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
  • Experience coordinating ATL and BTL marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using graphic design and creative tools (such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, creativity, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 per month.
