We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sterile Filling Machine Operator

Location: Ilorin, Kwara

Description

• Sterile Filling Machine Operator operates and monitors equipment that fills pharmaceutical or biotechnology products into sterile containers within highly controlled cleanroom environments. He ensures strict adherence to safety and quality protocols to prevent contamination and safeguard patient health.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated filling machinery, including clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) systems.
• Aseptic Technique: Execute all filling operations under strict ISO 5 (Grade A) and ISO 7 (Grade B) cleanroom conditions. Follow rigorous gowning and decontamination protocols
• Quality Assurance: Continually monitor fill weights, volumes, and seals. Conduct in-process quality checks and prepare environmental monitoring plates to detect contamination.
• Compliance & Documentation: Accurately complete Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), logbooks, and shift reports in strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, or a related technical field is typically preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of machine operating or aseptic processing experience in a Large Volume Parenteralspharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude for minor machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Physical & Work Environment: Ability to work in strict sterile garments (gowning), stand for extended shifts, and adapt to rotating shifts (including day, night, and weekend operations)
