Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager – Institutional/Project Sales to drive business development and sales across major construction projects, institutional clients, and key accounts within the building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and consistently achieve assigned revenue and project sales targets.
  • Develop and manage relationships with real estate developers, contractors, consultants, architects, quantity surveyors, government agencies, and institutional clients.
  • Identify and secure opportunities within major construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Promote and effectively communicate product features, technical specifications, and value propositions to customers.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of project opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence for management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service.
  • Attend trade exhibitions, networking events, and visit project sites to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders to support sustainable business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant sales experience (10 years is an added advantage).
  • Proven experience in institutional or project sales within the building materials industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian construction and building materials market.
  • Existing relationships with major real estate developers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders will be a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience preparing sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Candidates with experience in the tiles, ceramics, sanitary ware, building materials, or related construction products industry are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 per month + Attractive Performance Incentives.
