Job Summary

• HASED is recruiting on behalf of Panpet Global Enterprise, a fast-growing food and beverage manufacturing company preparing to commence commercial operations.
• We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and results-oriented Procurement & Supply Chain Officer to join our start-up team and play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, equipment, and services required for efficient manufacturing operations.
• This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong negotiation skills and experience in supporting food and beverage manufacturing operations.

About the Role

• The Procurement & Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, inventory planning, supplier management, and supply chain coordination to ensure uninterrupted production.
• The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehouse, Finance, and Sales to ensure materials are available at the right time, quality, quantity, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement plans based on production requirements.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, spare parts, and services.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, requests for quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of production materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and timely deliveries.
• Coordinate local procurement and support importation of machinery, equipment, and production materials where required.
• Monitor supplier performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and approved budgets.
• Work closely with the Warehouse and Production teams to prevent stock-outs and minimize excess inventory.
• Prepare procurement, inventory, and supplier performance reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Logistics or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CIPS, CIPSMN, or other relevant procurement qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management within the food, beverage, FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
• Practical experience sourcing raw materials, packaging materials, production equipment, and spare parts.
• Good understanding of inventory management, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and procurement planning.
• Experience with importation processes and international sourcing will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory or ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary
N1,200,000 annually.
