Job Title: Store Officer

Job Summary

• We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Store Officer to manage the receipt, storage, inventory control, and issuance of raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, consumables, and finished goods.
• The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted production by maintaining accurate inventory records and efficient warehouse operations.
• The Store Officer will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and safeguarding inventory while ensuring proper stock control, accurate documentation, and compliance with company procedures.
• The role requires close collaboration with the Procurement, Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure materials are available to support production

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and other supplies.
• Store materials using appropriate inventory control methods, including FIFO and FEFO where applicable.
• Issue materials to production based on approved requisitions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, bin cards, and stock registers.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the Procurement & Supply Chain Officer when items reach reorder levels.
• Receive and properly store finished goods from production.
• Ensure proper warehouse organization, housekeeping, and product identification.
• Prepare inventory reports and support internal and external audits.
• Prevent inventory losses, wastage, damage, and unauthorized access to store items.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and food storage standards.

Qualifications

• ND, HND or Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing & Supply, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Warehouse Management, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years' experience in warehouse, inventory, or store management within the food, beverage, FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial sector.
• Good understanding of inventory control principles, warehouse operations, and stock reconciliation.
• Experience handling raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software or ERP systems.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and reliability.

Salary
N840,000 annually.
