Job Title: Steward (Garment Production Factory)

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a neat, proactive, and service-oriented Steward to maintain cleanliness, support office hospitality, and assist with food and beverage services.
  • The ideal candidate should have good culinary knowledge, excellent communication skills, and be resident in Abuja.

Job Overview

  • We are looking for a responsible and highly organized Steward to ensure a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment within our workplace.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, preparing and serving refreshments when required, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the office.
  • The ideal candidate should be professional, disciplined, and resident in Abuja, Nigeria.

Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Hygiene:

  • Maintain cleanliness of offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
  • Ensure work areas are tidy, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages when necessary.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately while maintaining hygiene standards.

Hospitality & Catering Support:

  • Prepare and serve tea, coffee, snacks, and light meals when required.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving during meetings and company events.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of food items and kitchen equipment.

Office Support:

  • Assist with setting up meeting rooms before and after meetings.
  • Support other administrative or facility-related tasks as assigned.
  • Report maintenance or repair issues promptly.

Health & Safety:

  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an OND qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Steward, Office Assistant, Housekeeper, or in a similar role.
  • Must be resident in Abuja, Nigeria.
  • Female candidates are preferred.
  • Candidates between the ages of 26 and 35 years are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Good culinary knowledge and basic food handling skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional, respectful, and disciplined.
  • High level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
