Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Description

• We are seeking a reliable and hardworking kitchen assistant to support daily kitchen operations by assisting cooks and chefs with food preparation, cleaning and maintaining kitchen organization.
• The ideal candidates should be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist cooks and chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to work as instructed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Dispose of waste according to hygiene standards.
• Assist with receiving and organizing food supplies.

Operational Duties:

• Ensure workstations are clean and organized at all times.
• Follow kitchen instructions and assigned tasks efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining a smooth kitchen workflow.
• Support opening and closing kitchen procedures.

Food Safety & Hygiene:

• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain personal hygiene and proper grooming standards.
• Use kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.

Requirements

• Min Qualification: High School (S.S.C.E)
• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 1 year 
• Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Good time management and attention to cleanliness

Remuneration
N70,000 / month.
