Job Summary
- The e-commerce manager’s primary objective is to increase conversion rates or the rate of purchases generated by shop visitors.
- He is in charge of its e-commerce presence. He manages the assortment, choose products for sale, and manage returns.
- The ideal candidate is primarily responsible for revenue generation, growth management, planning, managing the day – day operations of our eCommerce business and further development of the online shop’s performance, as well as acting as a liaison between various specialist departments.
- These include Inventory unit, Finance unit, Web design agencies, in-house marketing department, business development, Sales and IT.
- Additionally, he is responsible for analyzing sales statistics to optimize the product range and target advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the team and responsible for all day-to-day operational aspects of the Ecommerce channel (desktop, mobile, tablet), including inventory management, merchandising, contents publishing, product information, user experience, order fulfillment, shipping methods, payment methods, customer service & housekeeping.
- Partner with cross functional teams, including IT, Marketing, Inventory, Customer Service, Logistics to identify opportunities and to drive business and executes new business strategies
- Deliver on sales targets as identified in the company’s strategic plan.
- Drive commercial fundamentals (KPIs, traffic, conversion, site experience, AOV, etc) and develop industry benchmark operational excellence
- Improve and deliver on the online consumer experience (brand/product/service/NPS) while ensuring consistent brand and user experience for all on-line platforms
- Launch successful sales events through partnering with cross-functional teams and supervising online promotions and site initiatives
- Monitor and maintain the online inventory for all SBUs
- Monitor customer service and fulfilment issues. Partner with Customer Service to resolve escalated issues in a timely and efficient manner. Manages relationship and SLAs with Customer Service, Fulfillment Center, and Platform vendor
- Work closely with Marketing team by supporting with data to create more effective marketing.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with data feeds, integrations, site tags, and other aspects of the website environment. Builds strong working relationships with service providers and system integrators.
- Provide analysis & performance reports including daily, weekly and monthly reporting of KPI’s and recommending changes to improve performance so as to achieve P&L results.
Requirements
- Minimum of first degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Humanities, or related field.
- Preferably a background of at least 10 years specializing E-Commerce.
- In-depth knowledge of different social media platforms, website analytics, and best practices.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Project management ability.
- Administrative writing and reporting skill.
- Expert communication skills, both verbal as well as written
- Creative with a strategic mind set
- Flexible to changing conditions and possessing high level of integrity
- Expert knowledge of various business principles such as marketing strategy, financial analysis, and supply chain oversight
- Expert understanding of different technological components of online commerce
- Knowledge of database creation and management
- Knowledge of search engine optimization tactics, data mining, and security issues.
