We seek suitable candidates for the position below:
Job Title: Equipment Operator III
Ref: ITA-HR-NRS2016-030C
Location: Ibadan
Recruitment Type: National (3-year renewable contract)
Responsibilities
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Ensure smooth daily operation of all powerhouse equipment;
- Ensure the right lubricant mix of powerhouse equipment;
- Operate/maintain both mechanical and electrical equipment in the powerhouse including generators, high voltage panels, Ring Main Units (RMU), tripping units, underground cables; high voltage and low voltage circuit breakers;
- Assist powerhouse mechanics to carry out repairs on all Mechanical equipment in-charge of powerhouse;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- OND, Trade Test I, Artisan Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
- At least three (3) years relevant experience in a similar role.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of power house equipment.
- Pay attention to details and must be a team player.
- Be able to follow instructions.
