Job Title: Factory Manager (Garment Production)

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a disciplined and experienced Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our garment production facility in Abuja.
• The ideal candidate will supervise production staff, ensure quality standards, manage workflow, and maintain efficiency while meeting production targets.

Job Overview

• We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Factory Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our garment production factory.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, supervising factory staff, ensuring quality control, maintaining discipline, and meeting production deadlines.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be resident in Abuja, Nigeria.

Responsibilities
Factory Operations & Production:

• Oversee the daily operations of the garment factory to ensure smooth production
• Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines
• Ensure garments are produced according to quality standards and customer specifications
• Supervise tailors, machine operators, cutters, and other production staff
• Monitor productivity and implement measures to improve efficiency
• Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained.

Staff Supervision & Leadership:

• Lead, motivate, and manage factory employees
• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company policies
• Allocate tasks and monitor staff performance
• Train and support staff to improve productivity and quality.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Ensure all finished garments meet the company's quality standards
• Monitor production processes to minimize waste and defects
• Enforce workplace health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Inventory & Reporting:

• Monitor fabric, trims, and production materials to prevent shortages
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials
• Prepare weekly and monthly production reports
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with management, designers, and other departments to achieve production goals
• Recommend process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency
• Uphold professionalism, accountability, and integrity at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline
• 3–5 years' experience managing a garment factory or clothing production facility
• Male candidates preferred (but not strictly)
• Must be resident in Abuja, Nigeria
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in garment production and factory operations is required.
