Job Title: Warehouse Manager Assistant

Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, handling, and dispatching furniture products.
• The role requires attention to detail, physical strength, and a commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming furniture items and materials.
• Arrange and store furniture in designated warehouse areas following proper stacking and safety procedures.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Ensure all items are handled carefully to prevent damage, especially delicate or premium furniture pieces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times.
• Conduct routine stock counts and assist in inventory management.
• Report any damaged, missing, or faulty items to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist in assembling or disassembling furniture when required.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and use of equipment.
• Support delivery teams when necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum OND or equivalent qualification.
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferably in furniture or similar industry) is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items.
• Basic understanding of inventory and stock control processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational ability.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
