We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Personnel Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are a leading beverage manufacturing company operating in Nigeria, specializing in bottlewater production.
• We are currently seeking a highly professional and experienced HR & Security Manager to oversee our factory's Human Resources operations and physical security management.
• The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between factory personnel management and comprehensive plant safety, ensuring a stable, compliant, and secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management:

• Oversee end-to-end factory HR operations, including recruitment, attendance, payroll administration, and employee relations.
• Manage local workers' contracts and ensure strict compliance with Nigerian Labor Laws.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and foster a productive factory working culture.
• Coordinate with the management team to implement company policies and performance appraisals.

Factory Security Management:

• Design, implement, and monitor comprehensive security protocols and emergency response plans for the plant.
• Manage and supervise factory security personnel (internal guards or outsourced security agencies).
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations within the factory premises.
• Maintain strong relationships with local community leaders, Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and other relevant law enforcement agencies to mitigate external security risks.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Security Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in both HR and Security/Safety management, preferably within a factory or FMCG environment.
• Must possess relevant Professional Security/HSE Certificates (e.g., NISLT, ISPON, OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalents).
• Excellent command of English (both written and verbal); strong cross-cultural communication skills (experience working with management is a major plus).
• Proven capability to handle labor disputes and manage local security challenges effectively.

Salary
N200,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
