We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Water Line Production Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are a leading beverage manufacturing company in Nigeria, specializing in bottlewater production. We are seeking a highly motivated, result-oriented, and experienced Production Manager to lead our factory's water production operations.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring machinery uptime, and managing the factory shop floor team to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution:

  • Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the pure water production lines to meet weekly and monthly volume targets.
  • Monitor and optimize production processes to minimize material wastage and reduce downtime.
  • Oversee the shifting schedules of factory workers to ensure seamless, 24/7 or continuous operations when required.

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Ensure all products strictly comply with NAFDAC (National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control) and SON (Standards Organisation of Nigeria) regulatory standards.
  • Implement and maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on the production floor.

Inventory & Maintenance Coordination:

  • Coordinate with the logistics/warehouse team to ensure a steady supply of raw materials (preforms, caps, packing materials) and water treatment chemicals.
  • Work closely with the maintenance technicians to schedule preventive maintenance for water treatment plants, blowing machines, and filling lines.

Team Management:

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of line supervisors and factory operators.
  • Enforce safety protocols on the production floor to prevent workplace accidents.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Food Science, Biochemistry, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, strictly within the FMCG or Beverage industry (experience in water/beverage bottling factories is highly preferred).
  • Deep understanding of water treatment processes, injection/blowing molding, and automated filling machinery.
  • Proven knowledge of Nigerian regulatory requirements for food and beverages (NAFDAC and SON).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication skills (experience working with management is a plus).
