Job Title: Calibration Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Calibration Engineer with solid hands-on experience in calibration processes and instrumentation.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment accuracy and compliance with ISO 9001 standards, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in calibration and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate instruments such as flowmeters and liquid storage tanks (under and above ground)
• Set up and verify calibration exercises, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Design and implement standard calibration procedures across the organization.
• Maintain and update all platform-related calibration processes
• Carry out assessment, modelling, and optimization of calibration processes to reduce lead time.
• Coordinate with the HSE coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents).

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical engineering or related field
• 0 -1 years hands-on experience in a calibration-focused or similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Prior experience in the petroleum industry is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of calibration processes and tank cleaning services.
• Must be able to perform non entry tank cleaning will less supervision
• In depth understanding of Petrol station piping is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of related Health and Safety Standards is a plus.
