Job Title: Plumber

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining water supply systems, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and related plumbing equipment.
• The role ensures that all plumbing systems function efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify faults, leaks, blockages, or other issues.
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing components.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper functionality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and service requests.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and contractors when required.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of plumbing tools and equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and organized at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / OND, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Certification or vocational training in Plumbing is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
