Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Location: Akobo, Ibadan - Oyo

Job Summary

• We are looking for a qualified and passionate Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging lessons using both the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping students achieve academic excellence while maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons in line with the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials.
• Evaluate students' performance and provide academic support where needed.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Maintain an engaging, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Keep accurate academic records and communicate students' progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in school meetings, trainings, and other academic activities.

Requirements

• B.Ed. or B.Sc.Degree with a PGDE.
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience with both the Cambridge and Nigerian curricula.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and lesson delivery skills.
• Proficiency in using modern teaching methods and educational technology.
• TRCN certification, M.Ed./M.Sc., and Cambridge teaching certification are added advantages. Candidates with strong Cambridge curriculum experience and relevant certification will be considered for higher remuneration.

Salary
N120,000 net / month (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
