Job Description

• The Maize and Soybean Seed Crop Officer will be responsible for driving brand growth, market development, and customer conversion for the maize and soybean seed portfolios.
• The role will lead the execution of brand plans, product mix management, and experiential marketing activities to build strong farmer connections, drive rapid hybridization, and expand market share.
• The position supports the strategic marketing direction of the company by ensuring product performance, visibility, and profitability across target markets

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual marketing strategies for the maize and soybean seed portfolio aligned with business objectives.
• Drive successful product launches, portfolio positioning, pricing, and lifecycle management to support business growth.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and SWOT assessments to identify growth and expansion opportunities.
• Lead demand creation through demonstration plots, experiential marketing, and targeted farmer engagement programs.
• Strengthen customer relationships and increase hybrid adoption across smallholders, medium, and large-scale farming segments.
• Support distribution partners and agro-dealers through capacity building, trade marketing initiatives, and product availability.
• Monitor farmer engagement, product performance, and campaign effectiveness to optimize marketing strategies.
• Generate market intelligence, demand forecasts, and performance reports to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, brand standards, and responsible marketing practices.
• Maintain accurate marketing databases and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• B.Sc Degree in Agriculture
• Minimum of 2 years working experience with Maize and Soyabean crops.
• Candidate should reside in Kaduna.
