Job Title: Driver

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

• We are seeking a responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious driver to provide reliable transportation services while ensuring the safe operation and proper maintenance of assigned vehicles.
• The ideal candidate should be professional, punctual, and familiar with local road networks and traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, clients, executives, or goods to designated locations.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off in accordance with assigned schedules.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
• Assist with loading and unloading items when necessary.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of passengers and company property.

Requirements
Education:

• Minimum of SSCE (OND/HND is an added advantage).
• Valid Nigerian Driver's License with a clean driving record.

Experience: 

• Minimum of 3 years' driving experience in a corporate or professional setting.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of road networks and traffic regulations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, integrity, and reliability.
• Safe & defensive driving.
• Route planning & navigation.
• Vehicle maintenance awareness.
• Time management.
• Customer dervice & professionalism
• Attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate:

• Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Calm under pressure with excellent driving etiquette.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime when required.
