Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Officer for our Microfinance Bank on Lagos Island. The role supports daily accounting, loan portfolio reporting, and financial controls in line with CBN regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily banking transactions + loan disbursements / repayments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and statutory financial reports for CBN / NDIC.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Support budget prep, variance analysis, and cost control for branches.
• Ensure compliance with CBN guidelines, BOFIA, and internal MFB policies.
• Assist with internal/external audits and documentation.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, or related field.
• 2 - 4 years’ experience in a Microfinance Bank or commercial bank.
• Proficiency in FinA, BankOne, Temenos, Excel, and MS Office.
• ICAN / ACCA / ATSWA is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of MFB accounting and CBN regulatory reporting.
• High accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Salary
Negotiable / Open to discussion based on experience.
