Job Summary
- The Customer Service Officer serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service by addressing enquiries, resolving complaints, processing requests, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- The role is focused on enhancing customer satisfaction while supporting the company's sales and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customer enquiries through phone calls, emails, social media, and walk-in visits.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues where necessary.
- Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and service requests accurately.
- Provide customers with accurate information about products, services, pricing, and company policies.
- Maintain up-to-date customer records and interactions in the company's database.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
- Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor customer feedback and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly customer service reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.
- Support customer retention initiatives by maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Perform other customer service-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in customer service, front desk operations, or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- High level of professionalism, patience, and empathy.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
