We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Furniture Design Architect

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Development: Create detailed designs and technical drawings for wood joinery products, including furniture, cabinetry, and custom pieces.
  • Material Selection: Recommend appropriate materials and finishes based on design requirements and client specifications.
  • Prototyping: Collaborate with the production team to develop prototypes, ensuring designs are feasible for manufacturing processes.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD software and other design tools, specifically V-ray, Blinder, and Revit, to create and modify designs efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in furniture or product design, preferably within a wood joinery environment.
  • Proficiency in V-ray, Blinder, and Revit software, along with other CAD and graphic design tools.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and joinery methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • The candidates should have a strong preference for furniture designers who have worked within wood domain and possess prior experience with reputable and well-known companies.

Salary Range

  • Probation Period (First 3 Months): ₦275,000 monthly
  • After Confirmation: ₦300,000 monthly.
