Job Description
- Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Team Lead – Commercials to lead the commercial team in driving business growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing key client relationships.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, identifying new business opportunities, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring exceptional customer service while supporting the company's commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding the company's client portfolio.
- Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the commercial/sales team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Monitor team performance through established KPIs and ensure the achievement of sales and revenue targets.
- Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Lead contract negotiations and successfully close commercial deals.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and commercial performance reports for management.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Banking or financial services experience will be an added advantage.
- Must have 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams.
- Strong business development, negotiation, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
