We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ICT Manager

Location: Ozobulu, Anambra

Job Summary

  • As our ICT Manager (Information and Communications Technology), you will provide high-level technical leadership and strategic oversight to ensure our entire digital infrastructure operates at peak efficiency.
  • We look to you to design, deploy, and maintain our networks, hardware, and software systems while driving digital transformation to boost organizational growth and security.
  • This is a proactive role requiring a deep understanding of modern IT architectures, cybersecurity, and tech operations, and we need someone ready to deliver immediate tech impact from day one.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Oversight & System Administration: You will direct the daily operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime for networks (LAN/WAN), servers, cloud environments, and communication systems.
  • Financial Budgeting & Procurement: You will manage the annual ICT budget, track IT assets, negotiate vendor contracts, and evaluate cost-effective technology investments that align with our corporate goals.
  • Cybersecurity & Data Protection: You will design and enforce robust data security policies, manage firewalls, run regular system backups, and implement disaster recovery protocols to protect our proprietary data.
  • Project Management & IT Scaling: You will lead cross-functional tech initiatives, from upgrading legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to deploying new hardware tools across subsidiaries.
  • Relationship Management & Helpdesk Support: You will oversee the IT helpdesk team to deliver swift technical support, while acting as the primary technical point of contact for external tech vendors and service providers.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: You will proactively identify network vulnerabilities, handle sensitive administrative credentials with absolute discretion, and ensure all digital systems comply with data privacy laws and IT governance standards.

Requirements
What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field (a Master's degree or MBA is a plus) combined with a minimum of 5 years of progressive ICT management experience.
  • Certifications: Professional IT certifications such as CCNA/CCNP (Cisco), MCSA/MCSE, ITIL, CompTIA Security+, or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in network engineering, systems administration (Windows/Linux), cloud management, database administration, and basic data analytics tools.
  • Core Competencies: Strong financial acumen for tech budgeting, deep operational insight into enterprise tech workflows, sharp troubleshooting skills, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Traits: High emotional intelligence to maintain a calm, decisive approach during critical system outages or security breaches, strong work ethics, and absolute reliability.
