We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Management Trainee

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Rotational Training: Rotate across different business units (e.g., Operations, Finance, Sales, or IT) to gain holistic insight into company operations and strategy.
  • Shadowing & Mentorship: Work alongside seasoned professionals and managers to learn day-to-day workflows, best practices, and decision-making processes.
  • Data & Analytics: Gather operational data, conduct market research, and assist in preparing weekly reports and presentations for management.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, support product launches, and brainstorm process improvements.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that daily tasks are executed in compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory standards (such as CBN regulations for financial institutions).
  • Assessments: Actively participate in workshops and successfully complete competency tests, modular courses, and evaluations throughout the program.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND (often Second Class Upper / 2:1 minimum requirement) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Engineering, Law, or Economics).
  • Experience: Completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
  • Age Limit: Usually capped between 26 to 28 years of age at the time of application.
  • Candidates with a minimum of second class upper or upper credit should apply.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent verbal/written communication, and a proactive, eager-to-learn mindset.
  • Hard Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and basic data analysis or research capabilities.
