Job Title: Financial Analyst Intern 

Location: Lagos (Hybrid flexibility)

Role Overview

• As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will support the Finance team in preparing financial models, analysing business performance, conducting market research, and assisting with investment and funding projects.
• This internship is designed for graduates who want to build a career in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or private equity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating financial models and forecasts.
• Analyse financial statements and identify key trends and business insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor research.
• Assist with business valuations and feasibility studies.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentation materials.
• Support investment analysis and funding documentation.
• Organise financial data and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with senior analysts on client and internal projects.
• Carry out other finance-related duties assigned by the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous internship, coursework, or personal projects in finance are an advantage but not required.
