Job Title: Business Development Representative

About the Role
- Our client is seeking a high-performing, results-driven Business Sales Representative to drive B2B and B2C sales within our automobile lubricant division.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, onboarding new retail and commercial accounts (such as mechanic workshops, fleet owners, spare parts dealers, and corporate transport companies), and scaling monthly revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure new business accounts for our range of premium automobile lubricants.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure brand loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Market Expansion: Conduct market storms, field sales, and client visits within designated territories to increase brand visibility.
- Sales Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily sales activities, gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, and submit structured weekly/monthly sales reports to management.
- Credit & Debt Management: Ensure timely payment collection from clients in strict accordance with company credit policies.
Core Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven field sales experience (experience in the oil & gas, automobile parts, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector is an added advantage).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding set sales targets.
- Geographical Proximity: Candidates must reside within Surulere or within a reasonable and verifiable commuting distance from Surulere (Applications from candidates outside this bracket will not be considered).
Remuneration & Benefits
Guaranteed Base Pay:
Performance-Based Commission Structure
To reward high performance, we offer an uncapped monthly commission structure based on your verifiable monthly sales volume:
- Monthly Sales of ₦200,000 to ₦1,499,999: Eligible for a 0.5% commission.
- Monthly Sales of ₦1,500,000 to ₦3,999,999: Eligible for a 1.0% commission.
- Monthly Sales of ₦4,000,000 and above: Eligible for a 1.5% commission.
