• The Executive Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership, business oversight, and accountable management of assigned portfolios, ensuring sustainable growth, regulatory compliance, sound governance, and adherence to non-interest/Islamic banking principles.
• The role supports the MD/CEO and Board in executing corporate strategy, driving financial performance, strengthening risk management, and enhancing operational effectiveness.
• Key responsibilities include overseeing business and control functions, ensuring Shari’ah compliance, managing stakeholder relationships, promoting innovation, delivering revenue and profitability targets, and fostering a high-performance culture.
• The position requires strong banking expertise, executive leadership capability, governance discipline, commercial acumen, and deep understanding of Islamic banking practices.
