Overview

• We're seeking an experienced UI/UX Engineer, who will be responsible for designing and developing reusable UI components and templates using Figma.
• They will work closely with the design and engineering teams to create seamless user experiences across our products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable UI components and templates using Figma.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure design consistency and feasibility.
• Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across products.
• Create prototypes to test and validate design concepts.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on design solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in UI/UX design and engineering.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with designing and developing reusable UI components and templates.
• Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio that shows your design and engineering skills.
• Must have completed the compulsory 1-year NYSC or have an exemption certificate.
• A valid and up to date National Identity Card/NIMC slip is required upon commencement of this role.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of design systems and accessibility guidelines.
• Experience with usability testing and user research methods.
