We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Contracts Lead

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Purpose / Objective

  • Manage end-to-end (E2E) contracting process for minor and major contracts within Logistics (Marine and Waste Management).

Key Responsibilities
Contracting & Commercial Management (Pre-Award):

  • Manage end-to-end contracting for services and materials.
  • Prepare/review all pre-award documents (Part A, Part B, red thread, close-out templates).
  • Validate business requirements against contracting strategies.
  • Support NiPEX e-procurement compliance and governance.
  • Contribute to technical and commercial bid evaluations.
  • Conduct data analysis and market intelligence for negotiation decisions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and repository management.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement:

  • Develop and maintain SC performance monitoring matrices.
  • Track delivery KPIs using digital tools (Excel, Contrack, PACM).
  • Facilitate cadence meetings and drive corrective actions.
  • Deliver value via cost savings, efficient negotiations, and EnhanceX initiatives.
  • Support audit readiness.

Post-Award Contract Management:

  • Manage contract release and execution in line with requirements.
  • Track obligations: BPRs, contract plans, HSSE deliverables.
  • Lead variation management with full justification and documentation.
  • Drive contract close-out and capture lessons learned.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Business or Engineering degree
  • 7 Years Relevant supply chain contracting experience.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain contracting processes within the energy sector.
  • Proficiency in Excel, digital contracting tools, and e-procurement systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
