Transsion Holdings, the company formerly known as TECNO TELECOM LIMITED, established in July 2006, is a high-tech company specializing in the R&D, production, sale and service of mobile communication products. After years of development, Transsion has become an important part of the mobile phone ndustry and one of the major mobile phone manufacturers in the world. Currently, it has full ownership of three famous mobile phone brands TECNO, itel and Infinix, and an after-sales service brand Carlcare.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Locations: Abuja (FCT) , Borno, Kaduna, Kano, Plateau, and Sokoto
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Regional Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, managing retail operations, leading regional sales teams, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives across assigned territories.
  • The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the sales and distribution of home appliances, with proven leadership and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise Area Managers, Sales Supervisors, and field sales teams.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key retail partners.
  • Ensure product availability and effective merchandising across all assigned outlets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.
  • Drive retail excellence by ensuring compliance with company policies, processes, and brand standards.
  • Prepare regional sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews for management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate regional sales personnel to improve productivity and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Sales or Management are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 6–10years' experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a regional or senior sales management role.
  • Mandatory experience in the sales and distribution of home appliances or consumer electronics.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and managing multi-location sales operations.
  • Experience managing distributors, retail partners, and field sales teams.

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Sound knowledge of retail sales and distribution channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRMsystems.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
