We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Weighbridge Operator

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Purpose

• To accurately manage the weighing of inbound and outbound trucks using the weighbridge system while maintaining proper records and ensuring compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and food safety requirements.

The Job ​

• Operate the weighbridge system to weigh trucks at entry and exit points.
• Ensure accurate capture of gross, net, and tare weights in the appropriate system module.
• Issue weighbridge tickets and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Receive and process waybills, retaining required copies for further administrative use.
• Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of weighbridge equipment, communication systems, and printers.
• Ensure timely replacement of consumables (e.g., printer cartridges, paper) to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of all weighing operations.
• Identify discrepancies or irregularities and escalate to management promptly.

Qualification

• O'Level certificate with five (5) credits including Mathematics and English Language.
• NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) in a related discipline.

​Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is an added advantage.

• Have strong attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
• Be able to work with numbers and maintain precise records.
• Demonstrate integrity and accountability in handling operational data.
• Possess basic technical ability to operate computerized systems.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting issues.
