We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Security Operative

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Protect client personnel, property and assets against theft, vandalism and unauthorized access.
• Monitor and control access to assigned premises by verifying visitors, staff and contractors.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, compounds and designated areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards and security breaches.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, alarms and incidents.
• Maintain accurate occurrence books, incident reports and shift handover reports.
• Enforce company and client security policies, procedures and post instructions.
• Assist visitors and clients courteously while maintaining security protocols.
• Ensure security equipment and assigned assets are properly used and safeguarded.
• Escalate incidents and operational concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain a neat appearance, professional conduct and high level of discipline at all times.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or management

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the private security industry is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Good observation and reporting skills.
• Strong sense of integrity, honesty and professionalism.
• Physically fit and capable of working long shifts where required.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Candidates with relevant security training or certifications will have an added advantage.
