We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Sales

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, leading regional and field sales teams, driving customer acquisition, and ensuring the achievement of loan disbursement and portfolio growth targets.
• The ideal candidate must have a strong background in lending sales, team leadership, and performance management within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and loan disbursement targets
• Lead, coach, and manage Zonal Managers, Sales Managers, and field sales teams
• Drive customer acquisition and market expansion across assigned regions
• Monitor sales performance, productivity, and portfolio quality across teams
• Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Operations, and Collections teams to improve loan performance and customer experience
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and improve performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, credit guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
• 5-7 years’ experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within banking, fintech, microfinance, or consumer lending
• Proven track record of leading high-performing field sales teams and consistently achieving business targets
• Strong understanding of SME lending, loan sales, customer acquisition, and portfolio management
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Professional certifications will be an added advantage.

Salary
N500,000 net monthly.
