We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Locations: Ikeja and Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, acquiring, and managing new and existing customers while strengthening client relationships to achieve revenue, sales, and profitability targets.
  • We’re looking for a proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused professional who will promote the Company’s logistics solutions, identify market opportunities, and contribute to the achievement of the Company’s commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities into active customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive customer retention and revenue growth
  • Achieve assigned sales, customer acquisition, and revenue targets
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations to prospective customers
  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Manage the customer relationship lifecycle from prospecting through onboarding and post-sales support
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, customer records, and activities using the Company’s approved CRM and reporting tools
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, networking events, and business development initiatives to increase the Company’s market presence
  • Prepare periodic sales and business development reports and perform any other duties assigned by Management

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, or a related discipline
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, or Customer Relationship Management, preferably within the logistics, courier, e-commerce, or related industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM applications
  • Proximity to the office in Surulere/Ikeja is an advantage
  • Ability to prepare business proposals, sales reports, and market intelligence reports
  • Willingness to travel for business development activities where required
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer orientation.
