We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining responsive, secure, and high-performing websites and web applications.
• The successful candidate will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to create exceptional digital experiences that support the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces compatible with multiple devices and browsers.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Integrate websites with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues promptly.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing designs.
• Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance of web platforms.
• Stay updated with emerging web technologies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with web accessibility, security, and industry best practices.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications in web development will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in web development or a related role.
• Demonstrated portfolio of completed web development projects.
• Experience working in an IT solutions or technology-driven environment is an advantage.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of back-end technologies such as PHP, Node.js, or Python.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of website security and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
