Powerfields Schools was established in 2014 after the acquisition of the Egbin Electric Power Plc. and NEPA Staff School. The school was formerly known as the NEPA Staff School; the NEPA Staff School was founded in October 1988 with nine (9) members of staff, and it grew rapidly until it was acquired by the proprietors of the Egbin Power Plc. in the year 2014.
Powerfields Schools is situated on the serene and secure Egbin Power Plc premises in Ijede, Ikorodu, Lagos State, and comprises a Pre-school, an Elementary school, and a secondary school.

The school is widely known for the excellent academic performance of the students in external examinations.
The Pre-school and Elementary School operate as day schools, while the college operates as a day and boarding school.
