Job Title: Non-Commodity Procurement Manager

Job Description

  • A Non-Commodity Procurement Manager in Olam Agri is responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement of non-commodity goods and services, ensuring cost optimization, supplier performance, operational excellence, compliance, and sustainable sourcing practices.
  • The role drives strategic sourcing initiatives, manages supplier relationships, oversees procurement operations, and ensures the timely availability of engineering spares, services, logistics, and other critical procurement requirements to support business objectives.

Key Requirements

  • Manage procurement costs within approved budgets and deliver cost optimization.
  • Ensure quality and timely availability of engineering spares and services.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives across procurement categories.
  • Optimize resource utilization and support infrastructure projects for operational efficiency.
  • Manage Engineering Spares & Services procurement end-to-end.
  • Build, coach, and develop high-performing procurement teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and business objectives.
  • Drive supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks through contingency sourcing and proactive planning.
  • Leverage ERP systems and digital procurement tools to improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Deliver value through cost benchmarking, should-cost analysis, and strategic negotiations.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
  • CIPS, CPSM, or similar procurement certifications are an advantage.

Experience:

  • 5 - 7 years of end-to-end procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, or multinational environments.
  • Experience in Capex, engineering spares, logistics, freight, service contracts, and indirect procurement.
  • Proven track record in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and procurement transformation projects.
  • Knowledge of EXIM processes, customs clearance, and procurement documentation.
