Job Description

• We are seeking a highly analytical and meticulous Internal Auditor to join our team. T
• he successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of our internal controls, ensuring financial accuracy, and identifying potential financial risks within our operations. You will play a critical role in safeguarding company assets and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of project sites, payroll, procurement, and warehouse operations to ensure adherence to company policies.
• Monitor strict enforcement of company regulations, particularly regarding expenditure and site logistics, to mitigate financial risk.
• Perform detailed reviews of site expenditures, labor funds, and contractor payments to ensure funds are utilized according to approved budgets.
• Collaborate with Management to identify inefficiencies in resource allocation and provide actionable reports for process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of audit experience, preferably within the construction, engineering, or industrial plant sectors.
• Must be a resident of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, with the ability to travel between project sites as required.
• This role is open to only female married applicants.
• Proficiency in advanced data analysis, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Unwavering commitment to ethics, with the ability to handle confidential information and maintain objectivity when reporting to Management.
