Job Title: Head, Monitoring and Evaluation

Reports to: Managing Director / CEO or GM, Business Development, Planning & Strateg

Role Purpose

• An experienced Monitoring and Evaluation professional is required to lead the design and implementation of frameworks that track organizational performance against strategic and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks across all departments and projects.
• Track organizational performance against strategic objectives, KPIs, and project milestones.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and prepare comprehensive M&E reports for Management/Board.
• Identify performance gaps, risks, and areas for improvement, recommending corrective actions.
• Support departments in setting realistic, measurable targets aligned with corporate strategy.
• Develop data collection tools, dashboards, and reporting systems for real-time performance tracking.
• Conduct project and programme evaluations, including post-implementation reviews.
• Build M&E capacity across departments through training and technical support.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc / HND in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Social Sciences, or related field; postgraduate qualification in M&E, Project Management, or a related discipline is an advantage.
• 8 – 10 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation, performance management, or related functions.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in M&E tools, data analysis, and reporting software.
• Experience within the oil and gas industry or a large corporate organization is preferred.
• Excellent report-writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Target-driven with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.

Salary
N3,000,000 - N5,000,000 / month (Negotiable).
