Role Description

• The DevOps Engineer role at Conclase is a contract, on-site position based in Lagos.
• The individual in this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring reliable deployment processes across development and production environments.
• Day-to-day activities include managing Linux-based systems, monitoring application performance, troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues, and collaborating with software development teams to improve release cycles.
• The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to operational best practices, documentation, and security hardening of systems and services.

Qualifications

• Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Administer GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and access controls.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and AKS.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support high-availability environments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve delivery and operational efficiency.
• Banking or fintech experience is a must.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools and pipelines to support frequent, reliable releases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related security and networking concepts.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, with openness to continuous learning and improvement.
