Job Title: Fund Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

  • Manage equity, fixed-income and multi-asset portfolios to deliver optimal risk-adjusted returns.
  • You hold full accountability for portfolio performance; both gains and losses; and must justify every decision with clear, research-backed rationale.
  • This role demands unwavering integrity, disciplined execution, and strict adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines, with zero tolerance for negligence, misconduct, or unauthorized trades.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Execute trades, rebalance portfolios, and monitor daily positions to optimize performance within set risk parameters. Document all decisions and conduct periodic reviews with insights on wins and losses.
  • Investment Strategy: Develop and implement strategies aligned with market outlook. Present and defend recommendations at Investment Committee meetings; strictly within approved mandates, with no discretionary deviation.
  • Risk Management: Monitor market, credit, and liquidity risks. Adhere strictly to diversification rules, drawdown limits (≤10–15%), and investment guidelines. Escalate breaches or unusual exposures immediately.
  • Client Engagement: Deliver clear portfolio updates and investment insights to clients, including transparent communication during underperformance. Support business development through client presentations.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure 100% SEC and internal policy compliance. Maintain complete, audit-ready records for all trades and decisions, updated within 24–48 hours.

Job Requirments

  • Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Certification: CFA, CIS, or equivalent (required).
  • Experience: 7–10 years in asset/fund management with a verifiable track record of managing institutional or client funds; not just support roles.
  • Core Competencies: Strong portfolio & risk management; deep knowledge of financial instruments; decisive under market uncertainty; excellent client relationship and communication skills.

Salary
N1,000,000 per month.
