We are are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Credit Analyst

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Credit Appraisal: Review loan applications by analysing customers' financial information, bank statements, cash flows, repayment capacity, and business performance.
• Prepare Credit Memoranda: Prepare concise and well-structured credit appraisal reports and recommendations for Risk Management review and approval.
• Perform Customer Due Diligence: Conduct business, collateral, guarantor, and credit bureau verification, including site visits where required.
• Support Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio, identify early warning signals, and prepare periodic portfolio and exception reports.
• Assist in Credit Risk Management: Ensure compliance with the Bank's Credit Policy, Lending Guidelines, and regulatory requirements, while providing support in risk analysis, documentation review, and other credit-related assignments.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree (or NYSC/Graduate Intern) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
