After years of development, Carlcare Development has become an important part of the mobile phone industry and one of the major mobile phone manufacturers in the world. Currently, it has full ownership of three famous mobile phone brands TECNO, itel and Infinix, and an after-sales service brand Carlcare.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Functional QA Engineer - Nigeria Localization

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end product functional testing processes, including test case design, execution, defect tracking (closed-loop in Jira), and report generation.
• Conduct user experience testing and provide product optimization suggestions based on local user habits.
• Perform specialized testing such as competitive product analysis and network latency testing
• Identify localization issues in language usage to ensure terminology aligns with Hausa and Nigerian English contexts.
• Collaborate with Chinese teams to execute overseas testing tasks and drive issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields, with 2+ years of testing experience.
• Strong understanding of testing fundamentals, with experience in test case design and competitive analysis.
• Familiarity with Jira and other defect management tools; experience in international team collaboration is a plus.
• Proficiency in ADB tools, Android testing, and app testing
• Deep knowledge of Nigerian user behavior and cultural nuances impacting product experience.
• Experience with AI voice products or international projects is preferred.
