We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Design Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Location: Lagos
 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with user department to gather inputs and ensure project alignment.
• Prepare/review structural designs, calculations, vendor drawings.
• Monitor project progress & support site execution/coordination.
• Assist in cost estimation.
• FEED & Detailed engineering document review/ preparation.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• B.E. / M.Tech. in Civil Engineering.

Experience:

• 10 Years – 15 years of proven experience and Strong hands-on experience in Water Retaining structures & Industrial Buildings.

Certifications:

• Any suitable certifications in the field or related field.

Selection Criteria:

• Coordinate with stakeholders to collect inputs and ensure project alignment.
• Prepare and review structural designs, engineering calculations, and vendor drawings.
• Perform analysis and design using STAAD Pro, Foundation 3D, and FEM, including mat foundations.
• Monitor project progress and support site execution and coordination.
• Participate in review meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in preliminary cost estimation and FEED documentation.
• Maintain engineering documentation, reports, and records of project activities.
• Prepare and submit progress and technical reports as per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with design codes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Support and participate in quality audits by verifying design compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to project quality procedures.
• Hands on experience on water retaining structure is must.
