Job Title: Head Project Supervisor (Civil & Mechanical Engineering)

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Reports to: Managing Director/CEO or Executive Director, Asset and Field Development
Department: Projects & Engineering

Role Purpose

• An experienced Project Supervisor with a strong dual background in civil and mechanical engineering is required to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of the organization's infrastructure, facilities, and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the planning, scheduling, and execution of civil and mechanical engineering projects, including facility construction, pipeline works, and equipment installation
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality and safety standards
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and technical vendors across all project phases
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance/quality control on ongoing works
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and relevant engineering codes/regulations
• Prepare project status reports, budgets, and progress updates for Management
• Liaise with regulatory bodies on project approvals and compliance certifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.Sc / HND in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in project supervision, with direct exposure to both civil and mechanical works within the oil and gas or industrial sector
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Professional certification (e.g. PMP, COREN registration) is an advantage
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
