About the Role

• We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Cake/Pastry Decorator to join our team in Opebi, Ikeja. The ideal candidate will bring artistic flair and precision to finishing baked goods, ensuring every product meets our brand's presentation and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to customer specifications, brand standards, or design briefs
• Prepare icing, fondant, buttercream, and other decorative materials
• Execute custom designs for events, celebrations, and special orders with precision
• Ensure consistency in colour, texture, and presentation across all decorated items
• Collaborate with the baking team to align on production timelines and finishing schedules
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards during decoration and finishing processes
• Manage and account for decorating supplies and materials
• Stay updated on current cake design trends and suggest creative ideas to enhance product offerings

Requirements

• SSCE / OND or relevant qualification; culinary arts or cake decorating certification is an advantage
• 2–3 years' experience in cake/pastry decorating
• Strong portfolio or demonstrable skill in cake design, icing work, and finishing techniques
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a steady hand for precision work
• Ability to work under pressure to meet order deadlines, especially during peak/event periods
• Good communication and customer-service orientation, particularly for custom order consultations
• Must reside within or close to Ikeja/Opebi axis (preferred, due to work hours).

Benefits

• Salary: N130,000 – N200,000 monthly (based on experience)
• Benefits: HMO (Health Insurance).
